Crain’s Opto Power Tacker is durable and easy to use! The ruggedized electronic control board has an optical sensor that fires in response to a tough sliding trigger. This eliminates delicate mechanical microswitches, which frequently required replacement. It has a long, slender nose that easily parts yarns to get right down to the carpet’s backing. The short overall height, narrow profile, and rounded cap are helpful in tight spaces. Comes with a case and a free staple saver box (No. 617).
This tacker also features a powerful 11 AMP solenoid that drives into hardwoods, a jam-resistant magazine that holds 100 staples, and an easy access staple channel for quick removal of broken staples. Takes DuoFast No. 5418 or No. 5415 staples, Shur-Fast (No. 619), or generics.
