Description
This tool provides a simple way to stretch carpet across the stair tread and form it around the stair nosing. Hook the gripper teeth in the carpet just ahead of the stair nosing, then pull the leverage handle down. A pulling action is generated on the teeth that stretches the carpet across the stair tread. At the same time, the bottom edge of the tool tucks the carpet up under the stair nosing. Recesses in the bottom edge allow the nose of the tacker to be inserted for easy stapling. A tough job is made easier with the Stair Claw! Net weight: 2 ounces.
